Mental Health First Aid for Adults
An 8-hour course that teaches you how to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The training helps you identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. More information is available at mentalhealthfirstaid.org.

Learn how to administer naloxone to an overdose victim
REVIVE! is Virginia’s Opioid Overdose and Naloxone Education (OONE) program. It offers training on how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and how to respond using naloxone (Narcan®). Classes are available through Goochland Powhatan Community Services and the Chickahominy Health District (Goochland Office).
